About Alisha Marie

Back in the Day...
Raised as the only girl in a family of all boys I quickly adapted to dirt, sports and foul language. Nonetheless, a piece of me yearned to soften my edges and behave like a lady. It wasn't long before I clung onto fashion magazines and utilized them as a guide to womanhood. I locked myself in my room, sat on my bed with dirt under my nails and flipped through endless Vogues, Elles, Cosmos, and Bazaar's with the radio blasting to "Salt N' Pepa." I desperately wanted to be like the girls in the magazines though I was undeniably a tomboy. Through the remainder of my youth my obsession with fashion and modeling grew stronger. Each glossy page evoked emotion from me, warming my heart. I felt something and I found inspiration, goals, dreams... It wasn't long before I felt compelled to go after those dreams, and so I did! Coincidently it wasn't until several years later when my son, Kingston, was born that I found myself behind the camera, creating my own story.
